Day #2. Driving from Las Cruces to San Diego. I thought that West Texas was going to be barren and desolate and devoid of life, but I was wrong. The southwest portion of Arizona along Interstate 8 was devoid of life. Except for tons of cacti.
Interstate 10 through New Mexico.
A lot of interesting terrain we drove through!
Good thing we had good weather!
Look closely and you'll see tons of cacti!
Getting off of Interstate 10 and onto Interstate 8.
This picture was taking at a run-down gas station in the middle of no where.
Literally, this was the MIDDLE OF NO WHERE!
We went over TONS of little mountain ranges.
So this is in the afternoon but oddly our cell phones switched into Pacific Time early in the morning?
This is real. I took this with my camera. I PROMISE!
Last mountain range to pass over before getting into San Diego.
This was a HUGE mountain range to pass over. Very brown and rocky.
Notice it looks a little greener? We're descending down and getting closer to the Pacific Coast!
Waiting in line at Border Patrol.
Those numbers are kind of crazy!
Can't drive west any further. It was nice and cool and beautiful!
Here we are at La Jolla listening to all the sea lions bark!
And this is the end of Day 2!!!
