I love this song right now. It's performed by Jenn Johnson, a worship leader at Bethel. I love how free she is when she worships Jesus!
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."

DIY fabric covered cork board
We have a bulletin board (or cork board) in our spare bedroom above the desk and it's so drab and ugly. Once day I was on Pinterest and found a craft idea. I got the idea from here!
First I took my old and boring cork board.
I got a yard of this pretty fabric from Joann Fabric Store. It was my first time in this store (not including the times when I was younger when I had to go with my mom)! I got an adhesive spray and sprayed the board and then laid the fabric on top. I spent some time smoothing the fabric out and making sure there were not any bubbles in the fabric.
Then I got silver thumbtacks from Target and started pushing them in around the border of the cork board.
I used around 220 thumbtacks.
Lastly, I turned the cork board over and used a hot glue gun to glue the fabric to the back.
The finished product!
Back on the wall and way more exciting than it used to be!!!

vintage pyrex
Recently I've gotten interested in collecting vintage pyrex dishes. This is actually a quite practical hobby because I use these pyrex dishes as servingware and as prep bowls when I'm cooking. The nice thing about pyrex is they are very durable dishes. It's also made thrift shopping fun when you're looking for these pyrex treasures. Here's my collection so far:
My mama found this one for me. It's brown with a gold pattern.
It' like a mini casserole dish.
These are some of my favorite dishes. I love the blue print. Both of these dishes together were $3.
This mixing bowl might be my favorite right now. It's light blue with a white pattern. I struck GOLD when I found this one because bowls this cute are rare to find. I found this one at a thrift store for $3.
I've used this bowl several times to serve dinner.
Mugs! Aren't they cute?
This bowl is quite beat up but the orange and red pattern is so cute!
I actually inherited this set from my mother years ago. I didn't even realize these dishes were pyrex until I started looking for more pyrex dishes and looked at these in the cupboard and saw PYREX on the bottom of the dishes!
